Bill played baseball at George Rogers Clark High School and college ball at both Manchester and Chicago State University. He then played semi-pro ball for 13 years with the Beecher Muskies. Bill has coached youth travel baseball for 15 years at various age groups.

He currently resides in Crown Point, IN and is married with 4 children.
